Move and Be Moved

This truly was a tribal offering. Julie had the idea to acknowledge Sara and Amara Pagano. She solicited and received many ideas with the idea of the blanket originating with Jenny. Jenny's vision was further developed with tribal drawings and discussions, and finally with a commission to the incredibly talented Shari Trnka.

The tree's roots symbolize the depth and breadth of Amara and Sara's work in our community. How they hold the 5Rhythms so that members of our community can reach towards wholeness (as expressed with the blue circle in the background), the emptying, and filling our spirits. The 5Rhythms are symbolized in the Waves behind the tree, and our community through the branches, and individuals through the leaves.

The tribe was asked to select and place a leaf to represent themselves and other community members upon the branches. Those have since been sewn upon the blanket as well. Soon we will post another photo.
