A note from the perspective of one who found a measure of ‘release’ through this evolving installation. Friday night: Wings partially trapped behind hollow metal bars; wind chimes once, perhaps, now turned & detuned to mean purpose. Dangling on thin, metaphorically barbed wires is that which imprison: crumped bills, a square box of orthodoxy containing the bounded heart. Below, earthbound & rooted, an Osho card – relaxed face, eyes softly closed, mouth open in pregnant pause. Saturday: Several bars have gone missing, replaced by colorful floral strings, the artist’s palette rising high as the cash drops down to fertilize potential … a flutter of wings, stretching towards the light. Sunday: Fly, be free. The heart uncaged, the zen face suffused with joy & immersed in no-thingness. Sweetest release.

(one partial, memory-flawed interpretation among many – thank you Sara for your creativity– and you, Duncan, for the documentation).
