Ancient spiritual and religious traditions experienced dance/movement in community as a source of healing and prayer. They turned again and again to their bodies as an infinite source of wisdom. As you come into the New Year, you are invited to look at the individual and collective experience of engaging and fully embodying your life through the dance.
We will begin our afternoon with a showing of the film Dances of Ecstasy. Following the filming, we will come together to experience a 5Rhythmâ„¢ wave. In the wave we seek to free our bodies, open our hearts, empty our minds, awaken our souls and embody our spirits.
